Amplitube 2: This is the original and most popular Amplitube, that is included in the bundle. It can be used on Windows, Mac, and Linux. You can set it up to use a microphone, line input, or audio out. You can even capture a line from your guitar or bass and use it in the Amplitube as a guitar or bass sound. (This is the same for the other Amplitubes). Ampeg® SVX is a 50-watt power-amp that can be used as a stand-alone for the Ampeg SVX. You can also use it as an auxiliary input for your audio interface.
AmpliTube: This is a free (trial) version of AmpliTube 2, a rock guitar synth. There are hundreds of sounds that can be accessed by scrolling and switching screens. The guitar sound is from a real guitar and is loaded into the synth via MIDI. The synth features midi-sounds from guitar, bass, drums, percussion, and vocals. To connect to AmpliTube 2, you must have a MIDI USB interface to receive MIDI data. Because the guitar synth uses audio samples, it is limited to 2 audio inputs and a single monitor output. If you use the Audio Mixer screen, you will see only the audio inputs. However, if you use the Stereo Mixer screen you will have access to all audio inputs and outputs (the standard mixer) and it will act like an audio interface.
IK Multimedia Jimi Hendrix™: This is the guitar sound, designed by IK Multimedia, that gives you a Hendrix experience in the digital realm. The Jimi Hendrix™ sound can be adjusted using an analog voice control. The Jimi Hendrix™ sound is a digital recreation of the guitar sound heard on the albums such as Live at the BBC and Are You Experienced. It also comes loaded with 150 Hendrix® variations and 50 Hendrix® presets for quick access to Hendrix® sounds, chords, and chord variations.
